Mercedes-Benz Argentina launched the new B-Class in the country with a more dynamic and agile style that offers greater comfort and spaciousness at the same time.
The iconic Mercedes of the B segment has undergone a big change. The model has been adapted to the new avant-garde paradigms of luxury and mobility within its segment. That is what the German brand presented in the framework of an original event at the Mercedes Haus in the City of Buenos Aires. There the brand of the star launched the New Class B under the concept «Nothing to justify» due to the disruptiveness of its changes.
The model is available in 2 versions: Style and Progressive. Each one seeks to satisfy all the wishes of its customers, in terms of vehicle customization.
NEW MERCEDES BENZ B-CLASS
The state-of-the-art interior of the new B-Class, with an autonomous dash design, creates a sense of space unprecedented in this segment.
Its intuitive operating concept, which includes the MBUX multimedia system, with the voice command of “Hello Mercedes”, is a foretaste of the driving experience of the future.
The B-Class ranks high in its segment in the active safety chapter. This thanks to modern driver assistance systems. These systems even now include functions inherited from the S-Class.
Christian Kimelman, Commercial Director of the Mercedes-Benz Argentina Cars division commented on the launch:
“It is an ideal car for the whole family with a modern, elegant and more sporty design. Through the revolutionary MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) multimedia system, which has intelligent assistance systems that make it easier for the driver to correct maneuvers in the event of any possible collision situation ”. He added: «This new vehicle embodies the next step in the evolution of the brand’s philosophy, and holds the potential to initiate a new era of design.»
Highlights and news of the new Mercedes B-Class
It is available in the B 200 version (120 kW / 163 hp, 250 Nm) with a 7G-DCT dual-clutch transmission. Fuel consumption in the mixed cycle is 5.6-5.4 l / 100 km, CO emissions2 in the mixed cycle 129-124 g / km).
It also features a four-cylinder gasoline engine of the M 282 series with 1.33 liters of displacement and 100 kW of power. Its innovations include the selective cut-off of cylinders (in combination with the 7G-DCT gearbox), the triangular shape of the cylinder head.

The vehicle is now available in the official dealer network of Mercedes Benz of Argentina.

- B 200 Progressive: USD 45,000.-
